Welcome to Rally Day Sunday Worship service - a new programming year where many groups, committees and ministries start back up after a summer break! A special blessing of the backpacks by our Coordinator of Children's Ministry, Joan led this event (00:27:24). The Rev. Dr. Jordan Miller-Stubbendick, pastor, welcomes us all during the announcements (00:09:26) which was preceded by a lovely organ prelude (00:06:11) by organist, Deb Black. The scripture readings were read by Julie Schmit (00:22:52) and the holy gospel was read (00:32:35) with her sermon message following (00:34:34). St. Mary's Adult Choir under the direction of Dr. Richard D. Sjoerdmsa sang for the first time this season (00:52:03) "This is the Day that the Lord has Made". Which it is!!
