Helping Hands

Helping hands is a group of volunteers who work once a month, either the 1st Thursday and 3rd Friday, at 9am, organizing the pew racks. We go thru the hymnals to be sure there are no bulletins, paper,
etc. left behind. We also make sure the racks have plenty of communion cards, purple cards used by members or visitors for membership or requests for a visit by a pastor, and envelopes for visitors to use for donations if they so wish. There are also small note papers for children to doodle on. All cards must be checked to be sure there are no notes on them that should be turned into the office.

It takes four people about 1 to 1 ½ hours to do this important ministry. It is not hard work, just something that needs to be taken care of to keep our pew racks clean, in order and stocked.

If you are interested in joining this ministry, please call Jackie Larsen at the church office, 658-3555 ext. 242. We are also looking for people who can be put on a sub list. We are in desperate need of your help. Please lend a “helping hand” today.
