Greater Milwaukee Synod

The Greater Milwaukee Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is a community of 93,000 Lutherans claimed, gathered and sent for the sake of the world. 

The synod is led by Bishop Paul Stumme-Diers and a 17-member synod council.

The synod staff is guided by this mission statement:

“Called together in Christ, we serve, connect and lead the Greater Milwaukee Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.”

The Greater Milwaukee Synod Assembly is scheduled to be held at the Country Springs Conference Center in Waukesha on May 29-31, 2008. Visitors are welcome to attend.
