Coffee Serving

Coffee servers are needed for the Sunday morning fellowship hour starting at 9:00am until 10:00am. Each week, we provide hot coffee and tea and a sweet treat. Each week, there is a monthly sign up sheet on the coffee table for you to sign up to help. If you are interested in helping with coffee hour or would like further information, please contact Jackie Larsen, Volunteer Coordinator in the church office.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild has volunteers that prepare the Altar and the church for all services, baptisms, weddings, funerals, during the year. Their duties include special care for the linens for the Altar, placement of the frontals for the Altar, care of clergy vestments, and care of the vessels used at services. The Altar Guild is also responsible for the purchase of the beautiful altar flowers each week.  Altar
flowers are paid for by donations from parishioners.

Scripture Readers

If you have an interest in reading the lesson for worship, St. Mary's has a volunteer ministry for Scripture Reading. You will be called to schedule a time to read; be given brief instruction and a lectionary so you can practice before you read. A simple orientation is available, if you desire. To find out how to become a reader, contact Nancy Warnock for the 6pm service (947-0980); Pat Gallo for 8am service (652-2911); or Tim Somers for 10:30am service (657-7387).

Nursery

The Nursery is available Sunday mornings at the 8:00am and 10:30am service for children 3 years old and under.

At St. Mary’s, we encourage families to worship with their children. But in the event they get a little squirmy, please feel free to use the church nursery which is located on the west end of fellowship hall. Each week, we have one or two middle school kids scheduled to help in the nursery. At this time we are looking for adult volunteers who would be willing to help staff the nursery during worship on Sunday mornings on a rotating basis.

Greeters

St. Mary's would like to welcome everyone who walks through our doors during worship. Our worship times are Saturday evenings at 5:00pm, and Sunday mornings at 8:00am and 10:30am. Greeters arrive at church 15 minutes before the start of the service to greet people as they come into worship. If you are interested in greeting at the service you attend, please contact the following Lay Leaders.
