Guidelines for Awarding Funds
Applications for St. Mary's Lutheran Church Endowment Foundation funds must be submitted in writing using this form. Requested information should be included on a separate attachment. Requests will be reviewed by the Foundation's Disbursement Committee and granted if and when approved by the Foundation's Board of Directors.
Funds are available to church organizations and non-profit groups and community organizations that meet the Foundation's goals and mission for giving. Those goals and mission seek to support special projects, programs and initiatives that are not part of general operating expenses. Priority will be given to ministries, missions, and humanitarian efforts that promote the values of the Christian faith.

The applicant must:
- Describe the project
- Outline the objective of the project and how this project, program or initiative promotes Christian values
- Discuss the timeline of the project
- Tell who will manage the project
- Provide a specific estimate of funds needed.

To apply for scholarship funds, please return the following form with all completed essays, transcripts, and other information on or before April 30th. There are two forms, one explaining procedures, and one is the application.
